FAQ

How is the Webvoice or Web Music production attached to our webpage?

We email you a code (also called a player) that has a unique identifying number linking the production to your page. This code can simply be pasted into your web pages by your web designer, or the staff member that maintains your website (this process takes about one minute). We then upload your production to an external audio server which links the audio to your webpage each time it is visited.

What is the recommended length of a Webvoice production?

We recommend 20-30 seconds.

Does our web designer need to paste the code in each time we update the production?

No. The code is only installed once during the initial set up. Future updates to your production are simply uploaded to the audio server and therefore updated instantly on your website.

Does the Webvoice or Web Music production only play manually or can it set to be played automatically?

The production can be adjusted to play automatically by changing a small section of the code. In automatic mode, a visitor to your site will hear the voicing once they click to view a page.

Can we combine voice and music?

We recommend that music isn't used in conjunction with voice as this increases the file size dramatically which can affect the audio streaming. The music may also detract from the message you are trying to convey.

Do we pay an annual fee for the Webvoice or Web Music production?

There is no annual fee for the production. However there is a nominal hosting fee of $50 plus GST per player, per annum.

Is there a limit on how many Webvoice or Web Music productions we can have on a single webpage?

You can have as many Webvoice or Web Music productions (players) as you like. However, multiple productions would need to be set to play manually.

Can I choose the voice-over and music?

Yes, you can choose from our range of male and female voice-over artists. They're all accomplished professionals from radio and television, and cover a wide range of styles. You can also choose music from our copyright-free collection. Listen to samples at our Voice-Over and Music Samples pages.

Who writes the script for the Webvoice production?

One of our experienced copywriters will conduct a consultation with you, where you can give them an outline of the information you would like to convey. The copywriter will then write the script, and send it to you for feedback and approval. This way, you maintain control of the script content.
